SGDH-02AE Yaskawa Servo Drive | High-Performance AC Servo Drive
Yaskawa Servo Drive SGDH-02AE
Yaskawa Servo Drive SGDH-02AE
Type: SGDH series
Capacity: 0.2 kW
Voltage: Single-phase 200 V
Modes: Torque, Speed, Position
The test platform employs a motor-drive mutual feedback (back-to-back) setup.
It supports adjustable simulated loads, no-load operation with a drive motor,
and operation with the motor driving its inherent load.
An online testing approach is also used.
The test system consists of three parts:
the tested servo drive-motor system, the inherent system load, and an upper computer.
The upper computer sends speed command signals to the servo drive, which then operates accordingly.
During operation, the upper computer and data acquisition circuits collect operational data,
which are saved, analyzed, and displayed.
Yaskawa Servo Drive SGDH-02AE
Model: SGDH series drive.
Capacity: 0.2 kW.
Voltage: Single-phase 200 V.
Control Modes: Torque, speed, and position.
Test Platform Configurations:
1. Servo Drive–Motor Mutual Feedback Test Platform
A closed-loop system where two servo units (drive and motor) are coupled to simulate mutual load conditions, enabling dynamic performance evaluation under bidirectional power flow.
2. Adjustable Analog Load Test Platform
Equipped with programmable or mechanically adjustable loads to simulate varying torque and inertia conditions, allowing for controlled testing of drive response under different load profiles.
3. No-Load Test Platform with Execution Motor
Consists of the motor connected to the drive without any external load, used to analyze baseline performance, such as no-load speed characteristics, motor vibration, and drive stability.
4.Inherent Load-Driven Test Platform
The execution motor is coupled to a fixed or inherent load (e.g., a mechanical gearbox, flywheel, or fixed inertial load), representing real-world operational conditions for steady-state and dynamic testing.
5. Online Testing Method Platform
A real-time monitoring and testing system where the servo system operates under actual or simulated working conditions while performance data is collected continuously without interruption.
Structure of the Test System:
The testing system comprises three main components:
●Tested Servo Drive–Motor System: Includes the Yaskawa SGDH-02AE drive and its paired servo motor.
●System Inherent Load: The natural mechanical load attached to the motor or an emulated load in the test setup.
●Upper Computer (Host PC): Serves as the command and monitoring center.
Operation Workflow:
The host PC sends speed command signals to the servo drive, initiating system operation according to the predefined instructions. During operation, the host PC and data acquisition circuits collect real-time performance data (e.g., speed, torque, current, position error). The acquired data is then saved, analyzed, and visualized for performance assessment, diagnostics, and system optimization.
