The Mitsubishi QD75P4 is a 4-axis open-collector output positioning module. It supports linear interpolation for 2, 3, or 4 axes, as well as 2-axis circular interpolation. The control units can be set in millimeters, inches, degrees, or pulses. It offers a storage capacity of 600 positioning data sets per axis. The maximum pulse output frequency is 200 kpps. The module is equipped with a 40-pin connector.
This positioning module is available in two output types according to application requirements: open-collector output and differential driver output. The differential driver output type can reliably transmit high-speed command pulses (up to 4 Mpps) to servo amplifiers over distances of up to 10 meters, enabling high-speed control. In comparison, the open-collector type positioning module has a maximum command pulse frequency of 200 kpps.
