Mitsubishi Redundant Power Module Q63RP

Input voltage range: DC24V.

Output voltage: DC5V.

Output current: 8.5A.

Simplified program debugging

The soft element test function with execution conditions allows changing soft element values to user-defined values at any step in the program.

Previously, debugging specific circuit segments required adding programs to set soft elements. Now, this function enables specific circuit segments to operate independently without modifying the program.

As a result, debugging is simpler, with no need to alter programs for testing purposes.

Automatic backup of critical data

Programs and parameter files are automatically saved to non-volatile program memory (Flash ROM), preventing loss due to forgotten battery replacement.

Additionally, important data such as soft element data can be backed up to standard ROM to avoid loss during planned shutdowns (e.g., long holidays) caused by battery depletion.

Backed-up data is automatically restored when power is turned on again.

Easier program creation through soft element expansion

Bit soft elements (M and B soft elements) can be expanded up to 60K points, making programs easier to understand.

Mitsubishi Redundant Power Module Q63RP

The Q63RP is a redundant power module designed to enhance system reliability in industrial automation environments. It operates with an input voltage range of DC24V and delivers a stable DC5V output with a maximum output current of 8.5A. This module ensures continuous power supply, minimizing downtime in critical applications by supporting redundant power configurations.

Simplified Program Debugging

The module supports advanced debugging features, including a soft element test function with execution conditions. This allows users to modify the value of any soft element at an arbitrary step in the program without altering the original code. Traditionally, debugging specific circuit segments required additional programming to set or reset soft elements. Now, with this functionality, specific program sections can be isolated and tested independently, streamlining the debugging process and eliminating the need for temporary program modifications.

Automatic Backup of Critical Data

To prevent data loss due to battery failure or oversight, the system automatically saves program and parameter files to a battery-free program memory (Flash ROM). This ensures that essential data remains intact even if the backup battery is not replaced. Additionally, important soft element data can be backed up to standard ROM, safeguarding against data loss during extended planned shutdowns (e.g., holidays) when battery depletion may occur. Upon the next power-up, the backed-up data is automatically restored, enhancing data integrity and system recovery.

Soft Element Expansion for Easier Programming

The system allows for significant expansion of bit soft elements, including M (internal relay) and B (link relay) elements, supporting up to 60K points. This expanded capacity enables more flexible and readable program design, allowing engineers to structure logic more intuitively and efficiently. By reducing address constraints, it simplifies program development and maintenance, making complex control systems easier to manage and understand.
