The Pro-face GP2601-TC11 is a 12.1-inch TFT true-color LCD touchscreen human-machine interface (HMI) designed for industrial automation environments. It operates on an AC220V power supply and offers a resolution of 800×600 pixels with 256-color display capability. The unit is equipped with a built-in CF card interface, facilitating seamless production data management and efficient screen maintenance.
Internally, the GP2601-TC11 features 4 MB of FEPROM for application storage and 128 KB of SRAM for backup memory, ensuring reliable data retention. Through Pro-Server software, real-time production data can be collected and transmitted directly to various PC applications, enabling automatic data acquisition that enhances both product quality and overall productivity.
The touch panel is designed for easy setup and intuitive operation. Users can display Windows fonts and image data directly on the HMI screen. Font scaling is supported at standard multiplication factors of 1, 2, 4, and 8, with the flexibility to scale between 1 and 8 times, allowing precise adjustment of text size to fit custom layouts.
Creating screens is simplified with a library of 1,200 pre-designed components and labels that can be quickly arranged. Touch input components activate input mode directly. The system supports enhanced alarm management, including occurrence counting, cumulative time tracking, and alarm level messaging. Alarms can be sorted by date or frequency, and up to eight clock functions are available, increased from the previous three. Different colors can be assigned to represent various alarm levels.
Multiple input items support sequential input functions, including grouping capabilities. Parameter changes can trigger notification bits when values are updated. The on-screen keyboard can be set to automatically reposition for greater flexibility. High-quality screen analysis functions and a beginner-friendly programming menu make it easy for new users to learn and design.
The component palette and editing screen are now displayed in the same window, allowing users to drag and drop components directly into the editing area for quick and simple configuration. Hovering over a component icon displays operation instructions to assist in screen creation. Tags enhance editing flexibility, and up to three windows can be displayed simultaneously, including two U Tag windows. Historical alarm data can also be displayed for review and analysis.
