OMRON Slim-Type Connector Terminal Block Conversion Unit XW2D-40G6-RM

Equipped with a factory-installed XG4A MIL connector, this unit supports 40 poles and is designed as a new-generation slim-type connector terminal block conversion solution. Compared to conventional 40-pole XW2B units, the XW2D-40G6-RM reduces mounting area by up to 35%, enabling significant downsizing of control cabinets and automation equipment.

The unit features a screw-capture mechanism that prevents terminal screws from falling out, improving installation safety and efficiency. It is compatible with both round and Y-shaped crimp terminals, offering flexibility in wiring. For installation, the unit supports both DIN rail mounting and screw mounting, with a unique DIN rail lock that can be held in the open position during rail attachment for easier handling. The terminal cover can also be fixed in the open position to facilitate wiring work.

To simplify terminal counting and identification, every fifth screw is marked with a different color. This design consideration reduces wiring errors and speeds up maintenance and inspection tasks.
