The Omron NSJ5-TQ10-G5D is a 5.7-inch TFT color touchscreen human-machine interface (HMI) with an LED backlight, delivering clear and vibrant visual feedback in industrial environments. Its effective display area supports a resolution of 320 × 240 pixels, suitable for straightforward operator interface tasks. This model does not include an Ethernet port, and its housing is finished in white.

Users can choose from a range of screen sizes spanning from 5.7 inches to 12.1 inches to match application needs. For mobile or on-the-go operation, a handheld version designated NS5 is available, enabling direct interaction at production sites.

The NS Series PTs are engineered with comprehensive functionality tailored for factory floor use. A key feature is the Smart Active Parts (SAP) library, which simplifies connection and integration with Omron PLC components. Omron provides a development environment that eliminates the need for conventional programming and screen design efforts, streamlining the setup process.

When an error occurs in an Omron PLC unit, the SAP troubleshooting library delivers easy-to-understand explanations of root causes along with corrective actions. The standard offering includes a built-in ladder monitor tool, allowing users to view and edit ladder programs on-site without requiring a desktop computer. With this ladder monitor, operators can check PLC program status, search for addresses or message indicators, and monitor multiple I/O points.

As a standard package, the FA Integrated Toolpack "CX-One" is supplied, which includes screen design software with integrated simulation capabilities. This integrated simulation function enables simultaneous testing of ladder programs and screen data even without actual hardware. The interface supports 42 languages, while the supporting software accommodates 8 languages, and system information can be displayed in those same 8 languages.

The Single Port Multi Access (SPMA) function is pre-installed, permitting ladder programs and screen data to be transmitted through a single port. The system displays a list of connectable PLCs and devices, and compatibility extends to Mitsubishi PLCs and Omron inverters, offering flexible integration with diverse automation equipment.
