The Omron CS1W-SCU31-V1 serial communication unit features two RS-422A/485 ports, expands serial ports without using I/O slots, supports 1:N connections with external devices via RS-422A/485, generates interrupts in the CPU unit upon data reception, and allows up to 16 units (including all other CPU bus units) to be installed on the CPU or expansion rack, making it ideal for systems requiring multiple serial ports.
