Omron CQM1H-SCB41 Serial Communication Board – Features, Specs & Compatibility Guide
OMRON Serial Communication Board CQM1H-SCB41
The CQM1H-SCB41 serial communication board is used with CQM1H-CPU51/61 units. One board can be installed in slot 1. It has two ports: Port 1 (RS-232C, max 19.2 kbps, 15 m) and Port 2 (RS-422A/485, max 19.2 kbps, 500 m). Each port supports protocols such as Host Link, No-protocol, Macro, 1:1 Data Link, 1:N NT Link, or 1:1 NT Link. Current consumption is 200 mA at DC5V. The board enables connection to host computers, programmable terminals, or serial devices, and supports protocol macro functions for enhanced communication. The RS-422A/485 port allows 1:N connections without adapters (protocol macro or 1:1 NT Link).
The Omron CQM1H-SCB41 serial communication board is used with CPU units CQM1H-CPU51/61. It installs in slot 1, with a maximum of one board. Port 1 is RS-232C (max. 19.2 kbps, 15 m distance). Port 2 is RS-422A/485 (max. 19.2 kbps, 500 m distance). Both ports support individual protocols: Host Link, no-protocol, protocol macro, 1:1 data link, 1:N or 1:1 NT Link. Current consumption is max. 200 mA at DC5V. The board has two ports for connecting to host computers, programmable terminals, or other serial devices (excluding programming consoles). Unlike the CPU's built-in ports, it supports protocol macro functions, enhancing communication with external serial devices. The RS-422A/485 port enables 1:N connections without adapters (protocol macro or 1:1 NT Link).
