Features two serial ports: RS-232C and RS-422A/485.
Each port supports individually configurable communication modes: Protocol Macro, Host Link, NT Link, Serial Gateway, and No Protocol.
Supports high-speed connection to external devices, with communication speeds up to 230.4 kbps (via CJ1W-SCU@2).
Up to 16 units can be installed per CPU or expansion rack, enabling systems with up to 32 serial ports.
The NT-AL001 RS-232C/RS-422A adapter allows 1:N communication via the RS-232C port.
The Omron CJ1W-SCU41-V1 is a serial communication unit with RS-232C and RS-422/485 interfaces.
