Omron Remote I/O Master Unit C200H-RM201
The Omron C200H-RM201 is a remote I/O master unit for cable transmission. It connects via cable or optical fiber depending on site conditions. When using remote I/O slave units outside the CPU, a remote I/O master unit is required, and cable transmission master units are used for transmission terminals. Up to two cable or fiber optic remote I/O master units can be connected to a CPU or expansion I/O unit. Slave unit backplanes must be C200H-BC101-V2/BC081-V2/BC051-V2/BC031-V2. A maximum of five remote I/O slave units can be connected per master unit. In a fiber optic system, up to 64 (32-word, 512-point) fiber optic I/O or I/O link units can be connected. In a cable system, up to 32 (32-word, 512-point) I/O terminals, programmable terminals, or valve manifolds can be connected. Remote I/O slave units can connect to C500 or C1000 remote I/O master units (settings required). For high-density I/O units on slave racks, use C200H-RM001-PV1 or C200H-RM201, not C200H-RM001-R. Remote I/O slave units can connect two C200HX/HG/HE expansion I/O racks (max 5 units total). High-density I/O and interrupt units cannot be used with remote I/O slave units. Note: Remote I/O master units cannot be used with CompoBus/D (DeviceNet) master units.

Backplanes for slave units must be C200H-BC101-V2/BC081-V2/BC051-V2/BC031-V2.
Up to 5 remote I/O slave units can be connected per master unit.
In an optical fiber system, up to 64 (32-word, 512-point) optical fiber I/O units or I/O link units can be connected.
In a cable system, up to 32 (32-word, 512-point) I/O terminals, programmable terminals, or valve manifolds can be connected.
Remote I/O slave units can connect to C500 or C1000 remote I/O master units (requires setting on slave unit).
When installing high-density I/O units on a slave rack, use C200H-RM001-PV1 or C200H-RM201 master units; do not use C200H-RM001-R.
Remote I/O slave units can connect up to two C200HX/HG/HE expansion I/O racks (within the 5-unit limit).
High-density I/O units and interrupt units cannot be used with remote I/O slave units.
Note: Remote I/O master units cannot be used with CompoBus/D (DeviceNet) master units.
