The module supports easy Ethernet connection to programming tools (GX Works2, GX Developer). In a 1-to-1 direct connection with the CPU, no IP setting is required, and either straight or crossover cables can be used, making setup simple even for users unfamiliar with network configuration.
As part of the Q series, it meets diverse control needs—from I/O and analog to positioning—enabling precise control of switches, sensors, temperature, flow, motors, and drives.
Security features include a file password up to 32 characters (supporting letters, numbers, and special characters) and CPU access restricted to pre-registered devices, helping protect programs and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
