The Mitsubishi Serial Communication Module LJ71C24-CM supports RS-232 and RS-422/485 interfaces, with a transmission speed of up to 230.4 kbps. It is designed for use with the MC protocol and features built-in communication protocol support functionality, which is available only on channel 1 (ch1).
Using the Communication Protocol Support Function in GX Works2, users can easily configure the necessary protocols to communicate with target devices. By simply selecting the device to communicate with from the communication protocol library, connection can be established immediately.
The creation and editing of communication protocols are straightforward. Even if a connected device is not included in the protocol library, a corresponding protocol can be created simply to enable communication. The contents of the created protocols can be checked in a list format and edited with ease.
