The Mitsubishi Q64TD is a thermocouple-type temperature input module designed for high-precision process control applications. It features 4 input channels compatible with thermocouples conforming to JIS C1602-1995 standards. The module offers a conversion speed of 40 milliseconds per channel, ensuring efficient and reliable data acquisition. As an isolated analog module, the Q64TD is particularly suitable for process control environments where signal integrity and noise immunity are critical. Programs and parameter files are automatically saved to the program memory (Flash ROM), eliminating the need for backup batteries and preventing data loss due to forgotten battery replacement. Additionally, important data such as device data can be saved to standard ROM, ensuring protection during planned shutdowns, such as extended holidays, when battery power may be depleted. Upon the next power-on, the backed-up data is automatically restored, significantly reducing system downtime and recovery time.

For comprehensive system recovery, the module allows simple backup of all CPU data to a memory card through straightforward operations. Regular backups ensure that the latest parameters, programs, and other data are always stored on the memory card. In the event of a CPU failure, the system can be quickly restored by replacing the CPU and loading the pre-backed-up data from the memory card. This eliminates the need for time-consuming backup data management and further shortens recovery time during system outages.
