The Omron CS1W-SCB41-V1 Serial Communication Board provides two distinct communication interfaces: one RS-232C port and one RS-422/485 port. This board is designed to be installed into the inner board slot of a CS-series CPU unit.
To utilize the serial gateway function, the board or unit must have a unit version of 1.2 or higher. Similarly, the protocol-free function for serial communication units is only supported on units with version 1.2 or later. Additionally, the CPU unit must be of unit version 3.0 or higher to support these features.
The Modbus-RTU slave function is supported exclusively by serial communication boards or units with unit version 1.3 or above.
When using the NT-AL001 Link Adapter, an additional power consumption of 0.15A per adapter is required.
