The Omron CJ2M-CPU14 CPU Unit is a high-performance controller designed for versatile industrial automation applications. It supports an I/O capacity of up to 2,560 points, with the ability to accommodate up to 40 units across a maximum of three expansion racks. The program capacity is 30K steps, while the data memory capacity is 160K words, structured as 32K words of DM (Data Memory) and four banks of 32K words each of EM (Extended Memory).
This CPU unit is fully compatible with all existing CJ1-series power supplies, I/O units, control units, and communication units, ensuring seamless integration into legacy systems. With a significantly faster processor, the LD instruction execution time has been reduced to just 40 nanoseconds, and floating-point trigonometric operations are completed in under 1 microsecond, enabling rapid and precise control.
