The Mitsubishi Q64PN (Enhanced Version) power module is designed to deliver stable and reliable power for industrial automation systems. It accepts a wide input voltage range of AC100-240V, providing operational flexibility across different regional power standards. The module outputs a steady DC5V with a robust current capacity of 8.5A, ensuring sufficient power for connected PLC components and peripherals.

One of the key enhancements in this upgraded version is the simplification of program debugging. The module supports a soft element test function with execution conditions, allowing users to modify soft element values at any arbitrary step in the program without altering the original code. This eliminates the need to add temporary setup programs for debugging specific circuit segments. As a result, engineers can independently test and verify particular program sections, significantly streamlining the debugging process and reducing development time.

The expanded soft element capacity further facilitates program creation. Bit soft elements, such as M (internal relay) and B (link relay) soft elements, can now be extended up to 60K points. This increase in available points enables more intuitive and organized program structuring, making complex logic easier to understand and maintain.

To enhance data reliability, the Q64PN incorporates automatic backup of critical data. Programs and parameter files are automatically saved to a battery-free program memory (Flash ROM), preventing data loss due to forgotten battery replacement. Additionally, important data such as soft element values can be backed up to the standard ROM. This ensures that during planned shutdowns, such as extended holidays, the data remains intact even if the battery power is completely drained. Upon the next power-on, the backup data is automatically restored, providing seamless continuity and peace of mind for system operators.
