The Omron C200H-TC101 is a temperature control module designed for use in industrial automation systems. It features a dual-loop configuration, enabling independent control of two separate temperature zones from a single unit. Each loop can be connected to a temperature sensor, such as a platinum resistance thermometer (RTD) including JPt100 or Pt100 types, or a thermocouple.
The module supports a wide range of sensor inputs. Through internal DIP switches, users can select from up to 10 different thermocouple types and 2 types of platinum RTDs, providing flexibility for various application requirements. The control output is available in multiple forms: transistor output, voltage output, or current output, depending on the model and configuration.
With a sampling period of 500 milliseconds and an indication accuracy of ±0.5%, the C200H-TC101 enables high-speed temperature control suitable for precise thermal management. The unit allows for the storage of up to eight data groups, each containing eight parameters such as the main setpoint, alarm setpoints, and input offset values. These groups can be pre-configured for different purposes and can be switched during operation without interrupting the process.
The alarm functionality is highly versatile, offering more than ten selectable modes, including high-limit, low-limit, and high/low-limit alarms. Additionally, the module supports heater current monitoring using an external current transformer (CT), with a monitoring accuracy of 0.1A. This feature enables rapid detection of heater burnout, enhancing system reliability and safety.
