Omron I/O Control Unit CJ1W-IC101
The Omron I/O Control Unit CJ1W-IC101 is installed in the CPU rack to connect one or more expansion racks. It uses CS1W-CN□□3 extension cables to link to CJ1W-II101 I/O Interface Units. Mounted to the right of the CPU Unit, it enables controller capacity expansion even in limited spaces by utilizing units installable on the expansion racks.
The OMRON I/O Control Unit CJ1W-IC101 is used when connecting one or more expansion racks to a CJ-series PLC system. It is installed in the CPU rack to manage and control the extended I/O configuration.
Connection is established using CS1W-CN□□3 series expansion cables, which link the CPU rack to expansion racks equipped with CJ1W-II101 I/O Interface Units. The CJ1W-IC101 is mounted directly to the right side of the CPU unit in the main rack.
This setup allows flexible system expansion even in space-constrained environments, enabling users to increase the controller’s I/O capacity by adding additional units without replacing the main PLC hardware. It is a practical solution for scaling control systems while maintaining modularity and minimizing installation footprint.
